Programme Details

Accommodation: Stay in comfortable hotels on a sharing basis (4, 5, or 6 bedded rooms). Specific hotels include Hotel Trishul/Similar in Barkot, Hotel Onkar/Prakriti Darshan/Hotel Prachi/Similar in Uttarkashi, and Hotel Panch Kedar & Parth/Similar in Sitapur. At Kedarnath, stay is provided in GMVN Nandi Camp & Complex Or GMVN Dormitory, or Tent, 1km near Temple. Hotel Dabral/Similar at Pipalkoti.

Food: Wholesome vegetarian meals including Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Morning and Evening tea are also provided. Note: Meals are not included at Kedarnath due to terrain restrictions.

Transport & Support: Travel in a comfortable non-AC bus or Tempo Traveller depending on group size. The tour includes an experienced guide, a professional cook and helper, a medical kit, and basic oxygen support. 24/7 on-ground assistance is provided throughout the journey.

Please Carry: Valid ID proof (mandatory), heavy woolens for high altitudes, comfortable trekking shoes, raincoat, personal medicines, and a torch.

Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival at Haridwar

On arrival at Haridwar, check into the hotel. After some rest, visit the local market. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar. Optional (on your own): Mansa Devi Temple by cable car Chandi Devi Temple by cable car

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot

Distance: 192 km | Time: 6 hrs Altitude: 1,220 m / 4,003 ft Drive to Barkot. Hotel check-in and rest. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot

Drive: 36 km Trek: 6 km (one way) Altitude: 3,293 m / 10,803 ft Drive to Janki Chatti. Trek to Yamunotri Temple Holy bath at Surya Kund, and darshan at Yamunotri. Return to Barkot. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

Distance: 82 km | Time: 3 hrs Altitude: 1,158 m / 3,799 ft Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shiv Gufa and The Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

Distance: 99 km (one way) Altitude: 3,415 m / 11,204 ft Drive to Gangotri Temple via Harsil Valley. Darshan and return. Overnight stay at Uttarkas

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Sitapur

Distance: 222 km | Time: 7–8 hrs Altitude: approx. 1,800 m / 6,000 ft Drive to Sitapur. Hotel check-in and rest. Overnight sta

Day 6: Sitapur to Kedarnath

Trek: 16 km Altitude: 3,583 m / 11,755 ft Drive to Sonprayag, then Gaurikund. Trek to Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Sitapur

Trek: 16 km Morning darshan. Trek down and return to Sitapur. Overnight stay

Day 8: Sitapur to Pipalkoti

Distance: 143 km | Time: 5 hrs Altitude: 1,259 m / 4,130 ft Drive to Pipalkoti. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Pipalkoti - Badrinath - Pipalkoti

Distance: 140 km (round trip) Altitude: 3,300 m / 10,826 ft Visit Narsingh Temple, Joshimath. Darshan at Badrinath Temple. Explore Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul. Return to Pipalkoti for the night halt.

Day 10: Pipalkoti to Haridwar

Distance: 235 km | Time: 6–7 hrs En route visit the Dhari Devi Temple & witness Devprayag Sangam. Drop at Haridwar.Tour ends with beautiful memories of the Char Dham Yatra with SUN ADVENTURES.

Important Note

Package rates are subject to hotel availability at the time of booking. Similar category hotel will be provided if the mentioned hotel is unavailable. Rates may change during peak season, festivals, or major events. Early check-in / late check-out depends on hotel availability. Vehicle will be provided strictly as per itinerary and not on disposal basis. Sightseeing depends on weather, road, and local conditions. Missed sightseeing due to weather / traffic reasons is non-refundable. Entry fees and personal expenses are payable directly by guests.

Terms & Conditions

The balance payment is to be paid at least 25 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regards.
Camp may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the camp will be refunded. No other claims will be entertained.
No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.
SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant on camp in event of unreasonable behavior at any time and no refund will be given in this regard.
The amount paid once is not transferable to any other programme or to any other person.
Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.
In case the camp duration is extended due to unforeseen circumstances, each participant will have to pay Rs.400/- per head, per day to the group leader.
It shall be the participant’s responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.
The organisers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.
In any case of injury or severe illness where upon the participant has to admit to the hospital or sent back by flight or any other means of transport, then those charges shall be entirely borne by the parents and the expense has to be deposited at the office immediately.
Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.
We are not bound to provide name, address or any other personal details of other participants.
The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participant’s luggage and belongings.
SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the right to use the participant’s name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.

Refund Policy

Payment Policy: 25% advance p ayment at the time of booking to confirm services. 50% p ayment on p ickup day , before the tour starts. Remaining 25% p ayment on the last day / Badrinath check-out. SUN ADVENTURES reserves the right to hold or discontinue services in case of delayed or non-payment. Cancellation Policy: More than 60 days before arrival: 10% charges 30–59 days before arrival: 25% charges 15–29 days before arrival: 50% charges 7–14 days before arrival: 75% charges Less than 7 days / No-show: 100% charges
