Leh Ladakh

Ladakh is traversed by other mountain chains, the Ladakh range and Zanskar range. It is rightly called “Land of endless discovery”. A vast highland desert at an altitude of 11500 feet, LEH is the center of Buddhist culture. The participants would be visiting Thiksey Gompa, Hemis Gompa, Stok Palace, Shanti Stupa and Magnetic Point.

The highest motorable road in the world, KHARDUNGLA is another destination. PONGONG TSO a brackish water lake at an altitude of 14256 ft. must be the highest such lake in the world. Interestingly, one third of this lake belongs to India and the remaining water belongs to China.

Jeep safari from Srinagar to Leh enroute have magnificent view of Kargil war famous peaks (Tiger, Tololing). Also takes one across crystal clear streams and green forested valleys, high snow streaked mountain slopes and also stark landscapes with high rocky mountains and arid desert.

Round tour from Leh to Manali will cross all the spectacular and awe inspiring mountains passes – Baralacha La, Lachlungala, Tanglangla, Fotu La and Zogi La.

Jeep: Six person will share one Jeep.

Please Carry:  Four to Five pairs of casual clothes, one pair of heavy woolens, night dress, hand gloves, sunscreen lotion, cap, sunglasses, sports shoes, cotton socks, floaters / sandals, water bag with strap, torch, snacks, music Cd or Pendrive, day pack, 2 Passport size photograps and sanitary requisites.

• The balance payment is to be paid at least 25 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regards.
• Camp may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the camp will be refunded. No other claims will be entertained.
• No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.
• SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant on camp in event of unreasonable behavior at any time and no refund will be given in this regard.
• The amount paid once is not transferable to any other programme or to any other person.
• Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.
• In case the camp duration is extended due to unforeseen circumstances, each participant will have to pay Rs.400/- per head, per day to the group leader.
• It shall be the participant’s responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.
• The organisers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.
• In any case of injury or severe illness where upon the participant has to admit to the hospital or sent back by flight or any other means of transport, then those charges shall be entirely borne by the parents and the expense has to be deposited at the office immediately.
• Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.
• We are not bound to provide name, address or any other personal details of other participants.
• The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participant’s luggage and belongings.
