Programme Details

Activities: Navigation Trek with Map reading, Bush Craft, Double Rope Crossing, Burma Bridge, Bamboo Bridge, Rappelling, Treasure Hunt, Life skills like tent pitching and self cooking, trek to Indian Institute of Advance Studies, Bonfire and visit to Shimla town.


Camp Accommodation: Separate accommodation for boys and girls will be in deluxe eco huts on 4-6 sharing basis for students and on 4 sharing basis for families. All Eco huts have electricity and attached toilets & bathrooms.


Please Carry: Five pairs of comfortable clothes, night dress, sweater, jacket, raincoat, bath towel, sports shoes, socks, sandals/floaters, woollen cap, woollen socks, hand gloves, sunglasses, air-pillow, water bottle, torch, daypack, folding umbrella and toiletries (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, sunscreen, cold cream, lip balm etc.). Also carry an original photo ID proof. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original photo ID.


All The Items: mentioned should preferably be packed in a rucksack that is easier to carry. Please do not bring any disposable items, ornaments and other valuables. Binoculars and camera are optional.


Cell Phones: are allowed but not during Camp activities.   


Certificate:  A specially designed certificate will be issued to students who participate in all the activities & abide by all the camp rules.


Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food would be served. Special Jain/Swaminarayan food is also served, if mentioned in the application form.


Medical Facilities: First aid would be available throughout the programme. All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility. If any participant/s needs to be taken to a clinic or hospital, they will be responsible for covering the doctor's fee, medical expenses, transport charges, and any other related costs.


Disclaimer: While all care will be taken for the safety of the participants, SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS, or any individual connected to it would not be held responsible for any accident or any unforeseen incident. Participants will have to look after their luggage throughout the journey as well as during the camp/tour. Doctor’s certificate would be required if the participant is undergoing any medical treatment, is over-weight or above 60 years.

SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant during the camp/tour in event of unreasonable behaviour in such cases no refund will be given.

Day 1

Depart from Sabarmati (BG) for Delhi by 3 AC train in the evening.

Day 2

Arrive Delhi in the morning and leave for Shimla Campsite by luxury bus/Tempo travellers. Arrive Campsite in the evening. Basic instructions & room allotment.

Day 3

Orientation meeting, breakfast and introduction to the flora & fauna of the surroundings through an acclimatisation walk around the campsite and survival activities like self-cooking and tent pitching in the morning. High rope activities like Double rope crossing, Burma bridge and Bamboo bridge after lunch.

Day 4

Start the day with an exciting Rappelling activity in the morning, offering a thrilling experience and a chance to build confidence. In the evening, engage in Tree Jumaring, a fun and challenging activity, followed by group games to foster team spirit and solidarity.

Day 5

Embark on a long trek to the historic Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, also known as the Viceregal Lodge, where the Shimla Agreement was signed. Enjoy a packed lunch during the trek. Spend the evening exploring Shimla town to shop and experience the local vibe.

Day 6

Begin the day with a bushcraft session, learning essential outdoor survival skills. In the evening, participate in a treasure hunt and a navigation trek using map-reading techniques, culminating with a feedback session and a group photograph to capture the memorable moments of the camp.

Day 7

Depart for Delhi after early breakfast. Arrive Delhi in the evening and depart for Sabarmati (BG) by 3 Ac train in the evening.

Day 8

Arrive Sabarmati (BG) in the morning with happy memories.

Frequently Asked Questions

Terms & Conditions

  • The balance payment is to be paid at least 25 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regards.
  • Camp may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the camp will be refunded. No other claims will be entertained.
  • No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.
  • SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant on camp in event of unreasonable behavior at any time and no refund will be given in this regard.
  • The amount paid once is not transferable to any other programme or to any other person.
  • Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.
  • In case the camp duration is extended due to unforeseen circumstances, each participant will have to pay Rs.400/- per head, per day to the group leader.
  • It shall be the participant’s responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.
  • The organisers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.
  • In any case of injury or severe illness where upon the participant has to admit to the hospital or sent back by flight or any other means of transport, then those charges shall be entirely borne by the parents and the expense has to be deposited at the office immediately.
  • Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.
  • We are not bound to provide name, address or any other personal details of other participants.
  • The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participant’s luggage and belongings.
  • SUN ADVENTURES & OUTDOORS reserves the right to use the participant’s name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.
